First and worst down
Back in 2005 I had just consolidated $16,000 of debt onto one card with a promotional rate, then in the flurry of balance transfers lost track of things and was late with a payment. Immediately my interest rate on this card was jacked up to the usurous rate of 29%. The late payment and high interest rate on that account caused my other accounts to lower my limits so I couldn't even transfer the money back where it came from. 4.5 years later, and barely a budge on the interest rate the whole time, I've got that bastard paid off.
So long Chase, it hasn't been nice doing business with you.
I'll be interested to see, now that I've paid them off, if they change my interest rate, offer promotional rates, raise the credit limit

Congrats on paying that off. Re: First and worst down
I call shenanigans!
I checked my Chase card statement online today and there's a $1.50 Minimum Interest Fee, which if paid late would result in a $39.00 late payment fee. I'm paying it this month because I did carry a small balance on this card for 5 days, but if it shows up again next month I'm complaining.

Re: First and worst down
$39 late fee for a $1.50 balance sounds quite crazy, Sarahbyrdd! Actually, it costs the bank more than $1.50 to just print statement and process the $1.50 check you'll send to them - ahh, I guess they haven't figured that out.

CHECK UP ON CHASE CARDS
I POSTED A WEEK AGO, WHEN I GOT MY CHASE CARD BILL, I HAD 39.OO LATE CHARGE. NOT LATE AS THEY GOT THE 200.00. BUT I FORGOT TO ADD A 4, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 204.00. IT WAS TWO WEEKS EARLY ALSO. IT TOOK 3 SUPERVISORS, TO TALK TO TO GET FEE DROPPED AS I WAS NOT ACTUALLY LATE, JUST MISTAKE OF FOUR DOLLARS, AND NEVER LATE BEFORE AND ALWAYS SEND EXTRA. THIS WAS OVER MIN AMOUNT TO BEGIN WITH....BUT THEY TRIED, BUT I CAUGHT IT. SEEMS I AM NOT ONLY ONE UP SET OR HAVING TO WATCH CHASE CARDS/BILLS. mAYOR

Re: First and worst down
Another one bites the dust! The overdraft account I had with Chase is now paid off. They now have none of my business, and it's going to stay that way.
